WHITE SAND - BIRA CAPE

ARA CAVE

Back in Bira you walk back to the turn (a 5 km climb) towards Ara, which is located 13 km ahead. Every once in a while you can see the sea between the trees. The prosperous Ara is known for its shipbuilders. The village doesn't have easy access to the sea (two kilometers distance), nor it has supplies of wood. Still, the biggest part of the male population works in the shipbuilding industry across Indonesia. They always return to their families in this village. The road sign to the caves of Ara (Gowa Purbakala Ara) on the main road indicates a distance of 500 meters. Which turns right at the sign, has to go through bushes and scrubs. The caves themselves are not exciting: reasonably open, with scattered remains of broken porcelain, coffins and bones.

LIUKANG LOE ISLAND
You can see Liukang Loe Island from Bira Cape, Inhabitant Island that could be reached by motorboat for about 10 minutes.This island is one of the famous underwater heaven that attract local and international tourist for diving or snorkeling.

KAMBING ISLAND 
Kambing Island is the sightseeing of Bira Cape that could be reached by motorboat within 10-15 minutes, but it’s an empty island, out of the fact that many travelers do underwater activity. Kambing in bahasa means "Goat", as mentioned above there's none living here accept hundreds of island goat.

NATIONAL PARK BANTIMURUNG BULUSARAUNG

The National Park of Bantimurung - Bulusaraung, South Sulawesi, sized ± 43.750 Ha. Administratively this park is located partly on Maros Region and Pangkajene Islands (Pangkep) District, 30 KM from New Hasanuddin Airport and 60 KM from Makassar. Geographicly, it is laid between 119° 34’ 17” – 119° 55’ 13” E. and 4° 42’ 49” – 5° 06’ 42” S. The National Park of Bantimurung Bulusaraung shares its northern boundary

MALINO FOREST - GOWA

With an area of wetlands that produce tons of rice every year, people always avoid the dangers of interest starvation. Grace was very grateful to all citizens. After each harvest, so they always perform a traditional ceremony that aims to thank the Creator. Ritual called Rumatang led by Ammatoa.
